is that conservatives aren't very good at making fun of themselves or their actions/beliefs, they just seem interested in using humor to attack those who think differently. Yes, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and Real Time with Bill Maher have a "liberal bias", but they make fun of everyone, including themselves (the same applies to more libertarian-minded shows such as South Park and Penn & Teller: Bullshit). Conservatives such as Dennis Miller purposely choose not to make fun of their own guys, so they come off as attackers rather then humorists...
