I too am a Cary Grant fan (and was mildly traumatized when he appeared at either the 1972 or 1976 Republican National Convention and my mother sighed and said, "I'd STILL run away with him tomorrow"). My point only was to take the Cranky approach to reviewing this movie, which is to highlight something that other folks revere without thinking much about it and take a new, denigrating approach to it. The goal is to get intelligent comments like yours that salvage the point that the Cranky review mocks.
