I've read all the messages exchanged by these two, and suddenly doggerel was the result:
Enough is enough! I am sick of the slanging,
I am tired of the insults and the noisy head-banging!
I've had it and cannot take any more slop
Oh, Beast and Tom Reilly, would you both please just stop?
Now Beast is a literate and amusing fellow,
Before this all started, he never did bellow
Or call names -- at least when it wasn't deserved.
He targeted bozos, and they were well served.
And occasionally that odd Reilly bloke
Can make me laugh until I do choke
With his parodies of movie trivia knowledge
And sendups of majors in film back in college.
But now they're both slanging and yelling and such,
And it has become all just way too damn much.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I say to Beast and to Reilly.
I'll say it with calm and I'll then say it wryly.
You're both talented folks and funny ones, too,
So why are you embroiled in this Faustian to-do?
Why beat on each other, why waste all that ammo?
For many trolls here do deserve both your WHAMMOs!
So make peace, and no longer at each other do burble,
Else we all start a chorus of "Weeble weeble blurble."
