Micro$oft has really out-done themselves this time... if you read the whole article, it points out that this flaw is one of the most potentially damaging fuck-ups of all time, and the assholes in Redmond *knew about it* for months, as T_M alluded to... he also mentioned the fact that MS has been touting this new OS as being bullet-proof; is true... it's safety has been one of the major slling points, in a lot of cases the deciding factor in whole corporations swithcing over, which for an individual is a complete hassle, but for a large corporation costs many millions of $$$ and disrupts the compamy for weeks... and the the MS assholes say "OOPS!!! we have a security hole in our new software you could drive a truck thru... our bad."
Please read the whole article... it's pretty un-believable and pretty damning of Micro$oft.
BTW, I'm still using Win 95, version "C" if I remember correctly.
