In fact, they didn't even show one of the escapees' car being on fire, and that really happened.
"Zodiac" is most certainly not a "6 star" movie -- Fincher's OTHER serial killer movie, now that's "7 stars." Heh-heh. "Zodiac" is a very straight forward re- enactment of all of the facts. I'll give Fincher credit for making 2 hours 45 minutes whiz by (relatively speaking -- say, in comparison to the last "LOTR" movie), and the acting is top notch, and if you don't know too much about the Zodiac killer to begin with (because they barely changed the true story), then it's certainly a nice flick to watch at least once. Can't say I would watch it dozens of more times like "Se7en" though -- heck, I'm one of "Fight Club's" biggest critics and I'd watch THAT one multiple times before "Zodiac." There's nothing about "Zodiac" whatsoever that even says it is a David Fincher movie. It is, though, obviously a digitally-shot movie (those are really starting to get on my nerves).
