You're going to love the first victim's demise -- some absolutely screwed-up (even original) stuff going on there, what with the kidney and the ice and the window and all (that scene actually made me squirm -- only the intestine scene in "The Cell" has made me do that so far this year). In fact, knowing your taste (Beast), I suggest you go see this movie just for that scene, because you will probably get your money's worth. However, after that, we're talking lame rehashes and, to tell you the truth, not much "real" blood at all (lots of "fake" blood on the set of the movie being shot). In fact, a few of the victims die in rather bloodless fashion, like being shocked to death or even offscreen deaths. I really shouldn't have said "bloodfest" -- it's definitely one of the tamer horror films as far as that's concerned.
However, I stand by "pointless."
