reminds me of when I worked the pumps (yes, I am so old, I worked pumping gas) at a car wash. On summer nights we'd all sit around (me and the car wash guys, I pumped the gas, the guys washed the cars) on Tom's car listening to his radio. It was pretty dead at the car wash on summer nights, and that song was popular at the time. Our whole lives were in front of us, and we would laugh and talk and make wonderful plans. I get happy memories of those nights sitting around at the car wash whenever I hear that song.
I wonder whatever happened to Tim, the guy who was going to be an Elvis impersonator. Yeesh. And Joe whose girlfriend got pregnant, so he was going to have to marry her.
