Wanna talk about the wrong movie for the wrong day:

Just about the worst possible movie I could have screened today -- set 90 % in New York City, all about "fortunate accidents." I couldn't concentrate on the damn thing at all -- aren't movies supposed to be about escapism? Although I'm not surprised the movie theaters stayed open (hell, I had to go to work during two hurricanes and a freakin' blizzard in my theater-working life), I am somewhat surprised they didn't cancel the screening considering the movie's setting and the fact that it doesn't even open until October.
For the record, Eugene Levy and Jeremy Piven did crack me up a number of times, and Cusack wasn't bad, but I was really in no mood for this thing and will probably have to screen it again in a couple of weeks to properly write a review.
If they have any sense, they'll clip that WTC shot (it wasn't significant) before they release the movie.
