A Newbie is someone who is completely clueless, who has missed the whole point of the website. In that sense, no, you're not a newbie. On the other hand, you're a lot newer than some others. You'll always be a newbie to someone.
As for who is trustworthy, Grundle and X-Man are established Liars, as is Liquid Sunshine. In addition, Gundle has a history of stalking behavior, and X-Man is a hatemonger. Liquid is abusive, but his abuse is so transparent that it's difficult to get upset about it. In that sense, he is trustworthy. You can trust him to ALWAYS be an asshole.
At any given time, there are several cliques around that communicate outside Cranky's. This can lead to betrayal and dissension, but I've never paid enough attention to this phenomenon to know who is involved or why. Sometimes I become vaguely aware that there's a feud going on, but they're easy enough to ignore.
