Good ep - I always love the whacked-out shit that show gets away with...
Mad-Ness, maybe your Fox affiliate did what mine sometimes does when local baseball/football runs into prime time - shoves shows into really weird time slots. For instance, a 49ers game a couple of weeks ago lead to the Fox Sunday comedies (Futurama/KotH/Simpsons/Malcolm) being aired from 11 pm to 1 am that same night...
