Possibly the worst film I've seen this year... and I should know. I've seen "From Hell" and "Iris" as well.
The original is two hours of Frank'n'Friends being cool. This is two hours of George and his celebrity chums doing the same. At least Frank can still wear a tangerine angora sweater in the original, and still be cool.
Soderbergh should be outed immediately. His films to date have been a triumph of style over substance. He seems to hate any emotional depth in favour of yet another lovely camera shot.
The only good thing is David Holmes' soundtrack.
In conclusion? The Shat Pack.
