Mr Cranky has got it spot on. This is one of those films where a bunch of lightweight rich show-offs - Clooney, Pitt and Roberts - pose and goof around for two long, long, interminable hours. Nothing much happens, nobody is ever in any danger, nobody cares much what's going on... Of course, all this quickly translates to the audience, who couldn't give a fig what happens either, so that by the end it's a blessed relief when the credits start to roll. You stumble out at the end like you've been force-fed candy floss for hours on end, trying to blot out hideous images of the ridiculously geeky Bradd Pitt trying to come over all suave and cool like Dean Martin. This gurning gimp is about as cool as our gas cooker.
