06/14/07: Ickyru, I believe it's simpler than that

There is NO way that anyone will ever be able to muster 67 votes in the Senate to remove Bush from office if he is Impeached. So why bother? I doubt the Dems want to shepherd a do-nothing congress which is exactly what will result if they spend time on impeaching Bush. Hell, the Senate couldn't even get the sixty votes needed to go to a vote on the no confidence in Alberto Gonzales statement. THAT, but the way was truly disgraceful for both parties.
