And I only found it somewhat similar to "Dilbert". Many of the characters were so like people I work with all the time, particularly the Lumbergh character which was dead-on. I've always like Gary Cole, anyway, and he was perfect. My favorite character was Milton, though. He's so pathetic and annoying, but you just can't help but like the guy. Stephen Root (remember the boss on "NewsRadio"?) is fantastic.
I suppose my one complaint would be that, other than Aniston (and she didn't even work in "the office"), there were no female characters. Otherwise, if you've ever worked in an office, particularly with "cubes", then there are quite a few laughs here.
Mr. Cranky must have never worked in an office.
