10/20/1999: This is an ILL review, and Dilbert sucks.

Dilbert sucks, and being a technical person, I wonder how other people put up with the tech-heavy crap that Scott Adams talks about ("The Y2K software is spaghetti code, Ashok! What will we do??") So maybe I should be shot for betraying my breed, but Dogbert did start to sound a lot like Marxbert in the strips and episodes that I saw.

Office Space, however, portrays cubicle hell from a much more honest perspective, with more subtlety, and for the few of us who understand the cosmic isomorphism between gangsta rap and computer programming, justification at last for our lifestyle. "I can't talk to my mother so I talk to my diary!"

I agree with many of the minor points, Mr. Cranky, I guess Jennifer Aniston did suck (Ron's acting pretty much bit the big one as well--was he _trying_ to sound insincere all the time?) But how about some mention of the genius of Milton!? "I was told that if I was late again, excuse me have you seen, I was told that if I was late again that I would be summarily dismissed." Or what about that Michael Bolton? Dude, I want to see that actor, David Herman, playing ghetto thug Deebo in Friday Part II.
