..it's really ridiculous that the things you see in movies REALLY do happen in colleges in the U.S.. I think things are a bit different in the rest of the world..
1) Do you really miss college or not?
Not in the least. Honestly, my university years were the worst of my life..
2) What college do (or did; we'll use present-tense from now on) you attend? Where is it? Is it's focus more art or science or what?
You'd never have heard of it.
Main focus was Engineering.
3) What movie college reminds you of the one you attend:
The movie with alot of rich, smelly Arabs who are sent here from India/whereever and all drive around in BMWs, and the orientals who spit all the time and talk about their current Java Webserver programs when they go out to 'party' at Wendy's..
4) Would you ever join a frat or a sorority or would you take pains to avoid those people at all costs?
Never in a million years..I was a 'snot' in that regard.. But there wasn't really much of a focus on that sort of thing at our college, either. Seems like frats and sororities are meant more for the sort of people who actually live on campus in residence.. I lived off campus.
I also have high standards..And i'm not a fan of getting drunk or hanging out with people who enjoy embarassing themselves.. Again, i'm a snot like that.
5) Do you find yourself hanging out with "the weird people" (anyone who isn't in a frat, especially if they're way geeky)? If you hang out with the wierd people instead, would you make up a Weird Kid Frat (a la "Revenge of the Nerds")? Would it work at your school?
I didn't really hang out with anyone. There was a large language barrier.. Also, there wasn't really any time TO hang out.. If you wanted to survive, you had to devote almost 200% of your time to work..Course, that had alot to do with the programs i was taking..
5) What's the strangest thing you ever saw at your college? What's the strangest thing that ever happened at your college? What's the strangest thing that ever happened at your college that involved you?
Wasn't really a high 'strange' quotient..I guess the strangest thing i ever saw was a bunch of mohawked squirrels (an apparent Frat-initiation thing was to catch a squirrel on campus and give it a mohawk)
Strangest thing to happen to me: eh, i dunno.. Developed a relationship with a girl over the internet (what a fucking retarded idea THAT was)..Went to visit her alot in chicago (my downtime)..Obtained an internet stalker who worked at Denny's and insisted she was gonna move up from alabama to canada to live with me...Was receiving death threats via email from Stalkers-IRL Husband...(to which i continuously responded "i'm not trying to steal your wife.. She's insane! I'm telling her so! It only seems to strengthen her resolve!").. During this time, a friend of mine from High School became a religious zealot and began attempting to save my soul, believing that i was dwelving into Satan's world, having sex and going to see movies like "The Blair Witch Project"..
Ya know, i did have a strange life in college...
