09/04/02: very cool responses, kids... and Mike, you don't say why I'm "wrong"

it could be the old "You're right from your side,

and I'm right from mine...

(B. Dylan said that)

the tobacco industry stopped/hindered the use of nicotine patches for decades in fear of decreased profits... where's that at?!?!?!? they altered the nicotine level way up in their products simply to increase the addictive nature of an already highly addictive product...

and no matter what thy say, they aim for the 14 - 18 year old market, 'cause they know how gullible and "rebellious" that age group is...

and to my mind the movie industry is about as guilty as everyone else put together for promoting the use of ciggies in teenagers...

remember, if you smoke for more than 5 years there is less than a 3% - 5% chance that you can *ever* quit... that's less than for someone that has a good heroin addiction goin'... think about that.

.tom, who is non-judgemental towards peeps who have drug problems... how could I be??? I ain't no hypocrite, after all...
