09/05/02: Since you prefer natural solutions tcp...

Tyrosine is used for people who don't want to go the drug route. It's nothing but an amino acid, so no side effects that I'm aware of. It might be just the type of thing you need since you only seem to need a *little* push. I keep a bottle of it to take when I run out of my prescription.

Wow, you and your books everywhere! That sounds SO flaming ADD. Yes, I always have an array of partially finished books too, but I don't let it nag at me because I know that I *will* get back to one if it's really worth finishing. I trust myself now more not to abandon books. It's just sometimes hard to find exactly the right book to fit the mood. When you do, you can zip right through it with that "laser-focus."

I was an exercise junky for years before I had any medication. It was probably the only thing really helping my sanity and so I overdid it. I've gotten out of the habit now though, and am pretty darn lazy. I got hooked on the computer instead, that was the main problem!

It's hard for me to understand speed giving people more energy since I was always expending too much energy running around *trying* to get things done. It was mostly wasted movement. Now that I'm more focused I move around much less, am more aware of what I'm doing, and don't feel that impulse, that pressure to keep jumping out of my seat to do something different. Or just merely because I can't stand knowing that I'm sitting still.

A contradiction -- well, they do say creativity is contradiction, and you've got creativity to burn! (actually it was Robin Morgan who said that, in one of her books of poems...I forget the name of it)
