Bound was a much better film than the Matrix: more visually impressive (imaginitive camera work will impress me before imaginitive computer effects will every time...not to mention the original, ultra-effective composition: Joe Patalino getting blown away in that pool of white paint in an all-time classic image of film). The pseudo-philosophy of the Matrix was not nearly as original or thought- provoking as the movie (or the audience for that matter) thought it was. The Matrix was a good film, but it was no Bound.
I don't think I have to mention the lesbian sex scene.
