At least, you would have us think of you as a Satanic majesty, when at best you're a cut-rate Halloween extra.
1. Given what most Crankizens think of lawyers, and given that skywhale is a lawyer, my phrase "arrogant pretentious bigshot" is quite mild and thus falls well within the realm of healthy derision.
2. Pray tell, what basis do you have for the assertion that I was fired -- beyond my admitting same just now? I have never admitted it before in this website. (By the way, the law firm that fired me no longer exists -- it went out of business soon after I left. That was the 1980s for you in the New York legal scene -- for every law firm that survived, half-a-dozen failed.)
3. You make comments in a thread in a public-access website and you'll have to accept that other people will answer you.
4. So ... who are you, anyway? I'm fighting to stay awake for the suspense-filled answer....
