I used to work at a McDonald's, when I was in high school...to my knowledge, the burger's start out pink, not white...other than that, it all sounds pretty accurate...
As for McDonald's in India...The Hindu religion places great reverence on the cow, so practitioners don't eat beef...However, there are almost as many Muslims in India as there are Hindus, and they don't have that particular dietary restriction, so I would assume that it's all pretty much the same there as here...
