I understand that in middle eastern countries (not just in India) McDonalds has an entire different line of products: hindus don't eat beef, and muslims don't eat pork... but they all adore lamb and veal. I read once that the equivalent of the "Big Mac" in muslim and south asian countries is called "MacLamb" and it's supposed to be much healthier than those grey, tasteless patties they serve here in the old USA.
I never worked at MickyD's, but all the friends I had that worked there always told me to never, ever eat there. They told me some nasty, gross shit that kept me from visiting the golden arches. In any case, I never enjoyed eating there. The food is disgusting, the patties are grey (like when you unfreeze meat in the microwave), tastes too sugary and does not contain much substance. Fries are OK, though.
Whenever I get the urge of indulging myself in some unhealthy, fast luch I go to either Burger King or Wendy's. The food in these places looks healthier, smells better, tastes better, and they put more stuff in it. It's probably not much healthier than McD's, but at least I enjoy the taste of my food without having to look inside the burger every two bites (what the heck was that?). Or the thought of e-coli!
