Your taste is music is as flawed as your political outlook.
If you said "after 1990", I might agree.
"Out of Order" is a good album, given it was more pop than rock. But I liked Rod's pop, he and a few other shifted to love-song and/or light pop (there's no such thing as soft rock) in the 1990's. Phil Collins was one, finally killing all integrety by doing a tune for disney's Tarzan.
But if you wanna continue this discussion, I suggest you bring over some of your old Motown records, we'll put the speakers on the windows and we'll go on the roof and listen to the miracles echo through alley down below!!
