Come on Mr.Cranky. You shouldn't critisize a movie for not being something that it isn't supposed to be. It isn't supposed to involve "action" of any sort, at least not by your misguided standards. Okay, so I haven't seen the movie. I am writing here to tell you that I don't think it should have even been made. If you had done a little research you might have discovered that it was adapted from a prize-winning, brilliant novel by Peter Carey. Armstrong was simply trying to tell a story that is to BIG for a movie. So up the research a bit. Amazing what you might find out... Matt
