I know people with sites that use these About.com ads. These are pay-per-click ads. The visitor must click on the ad and then at least twice within the chosen site.
The rumor is that Mr. Cranky has started using these ads because they are in financial trouble. For those who love this site, all you have to do is click on the ads just one time each time you visit. If everyone does this, we will make more than enough money for Mr. Cranky to keep it going. Otherwise, it is rumored to be out of business within six months.
