I don't deny for one second that Bill is more intelligent than Dubya. Bill was (and still is) dangerous because he uses his intelligence politically as a gimmick to do anything he wants, regardless of consequence. Bombing Kosovo, bombing a pharmaceutical plant in Sudan, bombing Iraq - all of these actions resulted in innocent lives lost, for what? To distract the American people from impeachment. That's why he's dangerous: using the power of the Presidency for personal gain. Thank heaven he's out. I guess that's also a good reason we should have Kings. No legal consequence would mean no "Wag the Dog" possibilities.
Hillary, yep, she's cut from the same cloth as Bill. She won an election to the U.S. Senate without ever answering a single question about what she's done to earn the votes she later received. Could anyone else have been elected this way? I doubt it.
Yes, I'll grant you, Bill and Hillary were the most intellectual couple ever to inhabit the White House. But at what price?
