The dropping of famous names, the inevitable waving of the hand for attention, the inability to keep his fingers away from the keyboard, especially from the phallic symbol represented by the combination of the F and Q keys.....
The times I have tried to get him on my couch you would not believe, Mr. philo. (Are you named after a fictional detective, by the way, or a type of Greek pastry dough? Either way I could offer an analysis.) By the way, you should see my newest couch — I have gained at least twenty new patients since I had it upholstered in leather.
By the way, I would not communicate further with that omnipotent being — you remember what happened when I was forced to baby-sit that monstrous offspring of his! Still I have nightmares — but at least I escaped with my life, unlike Mrs. Bledge’s poor lamented sister.
