First off, it's not so much a church as it is an organizied crime syndicate. The whole church has just been indicted for manslaughter in the death of a member who was abducted and held by the Church for weeks without food. L. Ron Hubbard was a wife beating, drunken con man who pilfered a shiteload of dough from another cult to start up the Church. After saying this, I'm probably going to meet John Travolta at the front door tommorrow with a machete.
Concerning Scientology and homosexuality, the Church, in it's literature, claims to 'cure' homosexuals of their proclivities. In fact, on former member is sueing because they weren't able to cure him like they did Travolta and Tom Cruise. So the legend has it anyway...
