It seems to me that everytime they release a moderatly successdul movie, they pause for the standard waiting period, and make another move using the VERY SAME SCRIPT.
I mean, Benny and Joon = Other Sister. Heathers = Jawbreaker. Dangerous Liasons = Cruel Intentions
And that's just this week.
Actually, didn't Videodrome involve a guy searching for truth in a snuff film?
It's like they painting in a new layer of chrome and marketing it as brand new. And I only though Hot Wheels did that.
Well, I can't speak for you, but I just can't wait until next week when I get to see more old movies made new. I wonder what they will be? Maybe 'The Guns of Navaronne' in outer space or 'Cool World' in cyberspace? Who knows.
And I thought Ted Turner was wrong for his colorizing.
