Because it just looks so fucking BORING!!!
Most of the US is pretty fucking boring actually... just flying from New York heading west you can see it from 30,000+ feet up!
If I want to see farms and farmers and cows and shit (which mostly comes from the cows,) I'll watch "Smallville" on The CW.
