Frankly, I haven't noticed this supposedly ubiquitous anti- Americanism in too many places. But I have noticed people seizing on any opinion that suggests criticism of the US government, as proof of the opinion-holder's anti- Americanism. There are anti-Americans under every bed, just like in the '50s.
