Like you, I am also a grown woman who finds clooney's self-absorbed antics repusive. I, too, am getting tired of him (AND his ditzy "companion") being shoved down our throats all the time. Yes, Steve Bucemi is much sexier, to name only one. Clooney doen't even come close to truly being a sex symbol, unless your into mannequins. I will try the Elmore Leonard novels you suggest.
