The movie begins with an overhead shot of a car on a freeway...
Lemmon and Matthau had gone fishin' when Lemmon fell in love with an eco-terrorist working for Hades. Matthau got jealous and schemed to break up the wedding. He succeeded, but Lemmon had already bought the tickets for his honeymoon cruise so he took Matthau along instead. After leaving port, Lemmon saw a ghost on deck and went to tell Hamlet.
Then a gang of dangerous criminals broke free and took the ship hostage. Data figured out the only logical thing to do (sorry, wrong ST). Batman and Robin tried to come to the rescue on the Batboat, but Mr. Freeze put icebergs in their path. The Dynamic Duo were in luck, however: the Batboat didn't sink until December. The ship was about to crash into Las Vegas--it was on the lake above Hoover Dam--but was stopped by Hercules. Meanwhile, a T-rex broke out of the hold and ate up everyone except for their hands.
Lemmon and Matthau were saved when the Saint came along in an eighteenth-century balloon. Then they became government agents. They dealt with a darn cat, filmed wildlife, solved three White House murder conspiracies and tracked down a teenage punk each thought was his son. Then they were assigned to surveying aliens and sent to make contact. Matthau fell in love with an intergalactic supermodel called Supreme Being. It was Lemmon's turn to get jealous, and he spied on them with a telescope. They changed faces and started gunfights. Data set a course for home (oops, wrong ST again). The Borg decided to assimilate them and made them live in an alien house and wear alien clothes, but in the end they sent them to the zoo instead.
In the last shot, a dog has puppies.
