Remember, there were positive comments, a whole slew of them, for Battlefield Earth (I'm sure those fine Scientologists had nothing to do with it). This was discussed by Ebert in one of his Answerman columns. The Battlefield Earth incident had the honchos at IMDB rethinking the unquestioned posting of comments. Perhaps this is just another case of studio infiltration.
Anybody seen David Manning lately?
