Dear Mr Cranky. Very funny review, firstly. Enjoyed it greatly. You can delete this if you want, but you bring up some questions which need answering. If you do delete it, no hard feelings, mate.
1) Charles is first in line to the throne. William is second in line. (That may be the source of your confusion... There is a call for Charles to hand succession straight to William (as if the Queen holds on till she dies, he could be 75 or so)
2) Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, is Queen Consort - she was married to the King (The current QEII's father). She had no claim to the throne (she's now deceased, at the age of 100). Consorts of Kings are called Queens. Consorts of ruling females (ie Queens who aren't consorts) are Princes. (not kings.)
3)The Prime Minister must follow certain protocols. I'm sure he'd love to say that, but it just ain't gona happen...
Any questions? Just ask!
