1. He's got a long back-catalogue of fantastically written comics. Now that it's all the rage to adapt comics for the screen, they'll naturally start digging up his masterpieces.
2. I doesn't seem like he cares what kind of movies are made out of his material. More than any of the other big names (Miller, Gaiman, whatever), he's stuck to comics. He writes the entire America's Best Comics line-up, and they're all really awesome.
