but everyone knows any movie based off of a peice of literature is going to be less than the work that is used, and to anyone who read the work, the film always falls short.
The Watchmen is going to be lackluster because the book is too intensivley in the taste of comic fans, without the slight touches of great writers and artists. the film will make anyone who watches it feel awkward at any of the actions taken by the comedian (Read teh book).
V for Vendetta will be mediocre because V himself is so over the top that every line will sound stupid if not acted and directed with extreme care
both of the comics i have mentioned have an insane amount of dialogue.... any screenwriter in their own wits will change or shorten dialogue to a ridiculous degree
