While I appreciate the support, there's some things you ought to know. Early on in Terri Schiavo's case, her husband collected $700,000 in a malpractice settlement. There is no life insurance. He cashed that out a long time ago and it went towards her care. Michael Schiavo had Terri moved to California at one point so that an experiamental brain stimulation could be tried on her. He has very little money left. Others have mentioned that he has been offered big $$ to relinquish Terri's care to her parents. It's not about the money.
One thing that is rarely mentioned in the news and is one BIG reason why I believe Terri Schiavo had and end of life conversation with Michael Schiavo is this: Michael Schiavo is a registered nurse.
I just don't see what harm it would do anyone to leave the damn feeding tube in.
