(But forgive him -- he's a foreigner, doesn't understand the way the stupid American film industry that would ignore "Memento" works.)
And just as I said, I knew I'd end up regretting leaving off "In The Bedroom" (and I was also thinking that of "Gosford Park," but I didn't say anything).
The only person who correctly chose "Gosford Park" for BP among his main 5 was bigpink -- and he was the only person to get all 5 points in BP as a whole. He was also the leader in BD (4.5 -- Scott was an alternate), and one of several people semi-perfect (4.5) in Supporting Actress.
I was the only purely perfect person in Lead Actress (although bigpink missed only because he made Dench an alternate), and Parca was the only 4.5 or higher in Lead Actor. Nobody was perfect or semi-perfect in Supporting Actor because nobody chose Ethan Hawke except Godmother, who missed Voight. We should have known better: he was nominated by the Actors Guild. On the other hand, Steve Buscemi was not nominated by either, though he was on almost everyone's contest entry.
So congratulations to bigpink. MAYBE I'll grade contest # 2 at some point if I have time...
