1. The busdriver not willing to let anyone board at anyplace but a bus stop is a sensible person. You can only get on and off a bus at a bus stop or in case of an emergency. I take it your wanting to board the bus that was waiting for the red light wasn't seen as an emergency by that driver.
2. This is entirely understandable because what if there was another disabled person in a wheelchair at a next stop? Never thought about the possibility of law suits by disabled people thinking they were being discriminated against?
The only action of the busdriver that was not sensible was the fact that he didn't return to the bus workplace because the bus was no danger to other people in that state.
