I really agree with The Rules Don't Apply with Me personality's prevalence and increasing presence. I can't get through a 10 item or less checkout line without seeing that person with twenty items who insists on writing a check. I can't cross streets because no driver yields to pedestrians at intersections ( this is a major hassle and quite deadly ). But my biggest thought while reading the MC screed was people who insist on playing their ghetto music full blast with the subwoofer so distorted and loud in apartment complexes.
I live in a very cramped complex and sure enough, every time some new dipwit from poverty row moves in, the first thing he or she does is crank the subwoofer. Everything shakes and they think this is the greatest thing in the world. I'm so glad government assistance allows them and their 8 kids and 2 love partners to blast the crap out of everyone. There's nothing like waking up at 2AM to the sound of Yo Big Pimpdaddy knocking pictures off the walls and breaking your dishes in the cupboards ( true story ).
No, I am not being racist, but I blame it all on the ubiquitousness of rap/hip-hop. The ones that give me the most headaches are in fact very dumb white women. It's out of hand. Go through any apartment complex in middle to lower income neighborhoods and you will hear subwoofers at distortion levels.
I have a tweaker neighbor below me who blasts music, pounds on walls, talks loud and is generally a drug-dealing annoyance to the extreme. But nothing like the blitheringly stupid white mother of however many living two doors down who just loves her subwoofer. I feel sorry for the poor dude that lives between these two TRDATM personalities. Makes me want to gather an army and slaughter with much gusto and righteousness. Someday, perhaps, someday it will happen, or surely humanity is lost.
