So Alito has gone on record saying a woman has "no constitutional right to an abortion". Sounds like an open- minded guy.
More and more info is coming to light regarding the FDA's smack down of the "Plan B" pill. Sounds like the decision was made well before any scientific data had even hit a desk.
I realize that, like, half the country thinks abortion is murder, but the other half doesn't. I further realize that our President is anti-abortion, so the nomination of this fruitcake didn't come as a surprise, but isn't the FDA supposed to operate free of politics? I thought it had something to do with SCIENCE, or something.
This shit is really starting to distress me. I keep hearing jokes about how all the unlucky ladies are going to end up back in that back alley, but it hardly seems far- fetched at all anymore. Why is it that people care so much more about the "life" growing in a stranger's womb than the stranger's already-in-progress life? Is it because only slutty heathens have sex out of wedlock, and they must be punished by having a baby they don't want?
I don't think Bush knows what "freedom" means.
