I'm not sure that it's a matter of thinking that one life is worth more than the other. If you do believe that the fetus is a life, then what happens with an abortion is the end of that person's life. What happens to the stranger is not; it's a radical change in lifestyle, and increased responsibility, but nobody "dies".
However, this is just an intellectual argument. Pontificating (pun intended) on a woman's right to choose is self-defeating from a male perspective.
