He was the one most responsible for getting a candidate nominated who had practically no chance of winning a national election. Beginning with the Iowa caucuses I tried to tell anyone who would listen that even with a Herculean effort Kerry would not win.
And he didn't. I was right.

PS: Democrats (other than Coaster) should get out more and talk to conservatives and Republicans. That's the only way they are going to start winning important elections again. That and making sure there is a paper trail for electronic voting.
PPS: How can anyone compare my paltry little vote to the clout of the Kennedy family?
