way. Since the writer/star of the original is wrote the pieces of crap I watched, I'll give that a pass.
This humor did not translate well. One must also consider that the British show only ran three years. My wife and I like As Time Goes By which ran much longer, as did Python. However, I do like The Vicar of Dibly which ran only a few years, too.
