Does have some painful fatal ailment that I can undertreat and feel all sorts of sympathy for while failing to end his misery? 'Cause unless he's deformed, mutilated, or otherwise seriously diseased, he doesn't belong in my rescue group.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to take care of my boy Leopard. He's my leper cat, and has dropped some parts on my lap...
