REVIEW: ’Saved’ opens with, “I’ve been a Christian all my life”...
I have never witnessed a more accurate portrayal of American ‘Christianity,’ or the Christian American Religious System...(C.A.R.S.)
Have you grown up in The ‘Church’ and been painfully aware that SOMETHING isn’t right, but you can’t put your finger on it? ‘Saved’ makes a disturbing presentation of what that SOMETHING is...Unfortunately this monster we have come to recognize as ‘Church,’ is nothing more than a club for the socially (and spiritually) retarded. I will say that many of God’s true children are stuck, for the moment, in this baby sister of Babylon. They truly love Jesus, but He simply has not yet shown His light on this spiritually crippling cave that their bumping around in...If you want more Jesus you’ll get Him, and as He reveals Himself more and more, you will willingly take His hand and follow Him OUTSIDE the camp.
Matt 8:22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
It is painful at times, but liberating.
Watching ‘Saved’ was like standing in the voyeur again on Wed. evening and Sunday mourning.....yuachk! Deja- vou...what’s the trend now on addressing the title hungry pharisee? Team Leader, Head Pastor? Whatever!
‘Saved’ unveils the heart of those religious puppets with their tight pants, spaghetti straps and plunging necklines. And let us not forget the latest hairstyle!...open graves.
These Barbie Doll Town House residents are raising their children to tear apart and feed on one another! Horrifying. But in all actuality, that is what’s happening...
I gave ‘Saved’ a 1 on, ‘Positive Portrayal of Christians and the Faith,’ because the majority of the content was most certainly not positive...Sadly it was all true. Even the current attitude on the ‘homosexual lifestyle’ is violating C.A.R.S....The Word of The Lord God Almighty is quite plain on this issue. This ‘lifestyle CHOICE’ is a total abomination in the eyes of God....and it starts with being unthankful.
No one who has a relationship with Jesus Christ can say that one can, “be a Christian” and practice SODOMY. All are without excuse....

What’s The Lord saying here?
Is The One who is Perfect in all Wisdom saying that sodomy is in fact NOT okay with Him? That it is a dishonor to the body and an unnatural act? That to partake in this increasingly sinful activity you are calling the truth of God a lie?
Well, it does not matter what man may think of God’s Truth.
Rom 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Look, God doesn’t acknowledge arrogant, lofty questions that come from a self justified heart...Questions like, “if this is a sin and not pleasing to God, then why did He make us all different?” God doesn’t make men and women homosexuals...it is man who decides to worship the creation rather than the Creator....
‘Saved’ reveals the Armenian doctrine. The teaching that man can lose his Salvation; that you must keep going back to that alter Brother and let Pastor save you again...It is not up to man and his works to save others....
Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. It is not based on your decision, or on your works or effort, but of God who shows mercy.
Rom 9:15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
According to the Word of God, this widely accepted mind-set is as witchcraft....!
Gal 3:1-3 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2.This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3.Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Maybe you’re finding this a bit difficult to swallow? Let’s replace the word King James chose with a related word:

The ‘Saved’ Christian school comes complete with the ever invasive ‘Prayer Circle’, the sole purpose is to keep everyone up to date on all of the latest gossip...
And somehow, every problem comes across as Jesus’ fault .... “If Jesus hadn’t told me to....this wouldn’t have happened...”

And what is the commandment of our Lord? The movie ‘Saved’ laid bare the sad fact that most ‘Christians’ today do not know who and what love is and their actions prove that they have not been with Jesus...
I Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
You’re going to find other situations in this movie that occur in the Christian American Religious System that may hit pretty close to home...This benefactor system is not what Jesus had in mind for His Church, The called out ones.
Luke 22:25-27 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. 26.But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. 27.For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
‘Saved’ leaves you with this statement:
“there has to be a god, or SOMETHING...Something inside you, you just have to feel it...” OH! Puke!
Jesus is our pattern for perfection in Him. To attain that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus is the desire of the sons of God who want all of Him ...Why? Because this is His desire for us.
Hebrews 2:10-11 shines some light on this fact...10. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11.For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren...The movie that so accurately portrays the Christian American Religious system is unable to point this out....either they haven’t been told that they can be perfected in Christ Jesus (through the Fellowship of His sufferings), or they like the ‘Happy Clammy’ Christian club more than they want to seek Jesus...
We are commanded to serve one another in love as He loves us. The movie does not bring this out. His life was not taken from Him, He lay it down joyfully that we might live....would He ask that we do the same? What does the Word say in response to this question? Rom 8:32 He that spared not his own (perfect, sinless) Son, but delivered him up (on a Roman cross) for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? emphasis added
What could ‘all things’ mean? It means ALL THINGS. From suffering to glory!
Phil 3:9-12 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10.That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11.If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 12.Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
