08/16/00: I just rented "Dogma" and "End of Days"..

"Dogma" i expected to be good (and it was), but i gotta say that i do not understand all the negativity that was heaped on "End of Days"..

I actually enjoyed it quite a bit (which surprised the hell outta me.. Of course, i had heard so many bad things about it that i guess i was going in expecting it to be a lot worse then it actually was..)

I mean, c'mon! It's got one of the most original death-scenes to show up since the basketball-beheading scene of "Deadly Friend"!

(That scene, of course, is the dreaded "Death-by-flammable-urine" scene!)

Am i the only one who got a kick outta "End of Days"?
