right? I tried to convince people that it was a satire, but they weren't buying it. But, I mean, come on. You have Travolta in the beginning talking about how movies overdo it & asking for the simplicity of "Dog Day Afternoon." This is then followed by a film with ridiculously over the top characters & action sequences plus Halle Berry's breasts. Ok, maybe the movie wasn't supposed to be a parody, but it worked a lot better that way.
OTOH, "Femme Fatale" was definitely a parody...and a great one at that.
