Vermont is a shitty example to use. Nobody is going to believe for a second that those syrup-addled sissies have a low murder rate because they don't have any gun control laws.

You're right; guns shouldn't be cheap and plentiful. Only the rich should have access to guns; to protect themselves from the unwashed masses and to keep the help in line.
